Smith Payroll with MIPS. Game Changer.

Words by Mia de Paula

I’ve been able to demo the new Smith Payroll helmet over the last few months, and it has been such a lightweight, comfortable helmet to ride in. I ride a variety of MTB styles, both enduro, park, and e-mtb- So, from epic descents to challenging climbs, this helmet kept me cool, comfortable, and protected! I even wore at it my favorite enduro bike park, Skypark Bike Park.

Smith’s innovative half shell design offers extensive coverage and integrates cutting-edge protective technology, perfect for a range of biking styles. I especially love that it has MIPS technology.

The Payroll helmet is built with lightweight in-mold construction, it prioritizes both impact protection and breathability, meeting CPSC, CE EN 1078, and NTA-8776 e-bike certifications for high-speed impact resilience.

The helmet is crafted for seamless integration with Smith eyewear and goggles. So, if you also rock Smith eyewear, this helmet would be perfect.

It also features an Iconic+® antimicrobial lining and VaporFit® system, it keeps you cool and comfortable on the trails. I appreciate  that it has ample ventilation to ensure optimal comfort and breathability throughout my ride and that the visors is adjustable.

The Payroll design is sleek. It is available in a ton of different of colors. Depending on the color you choose, the prices range from $200 to $220 for a special Matte Black/Topo design with integrated Aleck® crash sensor for enhanced safety.

What better way to kick off the fall season than with the assurance of safety, style, and comfort provided by the Smith Payroll helmet. Be sure to use our affiliate link here to get your Payroll Helmet, and support the Women’s MTB Network!
