Emma Olofsson just signed a major sponsorship

Freerider and MTB-baddie Emma Olofsson just signed a major sponsorship deal with OnlyFans. As shared on her instagram page @mmurmaider, Emma said “Dreams do come true! This year I will be riding for @OnlyFans and I am so excited! Representing a platform that empowers its creators is a true honor, and it means so much for my journey as an athlete. Thanks to this incredible partnership, l'll have more opportunities to ride, travel, and bring you the best content possible - everything from bike adventures and behind the scenes moments to tips, workouts, and personal life insights.” Emma joins Canadian enduro and downhill racer Rachel Pageau, who picked up her OnlyFans sponsorship at the start of 2024. While the online platform has primarily been known for adult content, OnlyFans appears to be broadening its reach by promoting athletes and sports creators.

Noemi RÜEGG Wins 2025 Tour Down Under

Noemi Rüegg, a 23-year-old Swiss cyclist from EF Education-Oatley, clinched the 2025 Women's Tour Down Under title by maintaining her lead in the final stage, which concluded in Stirling. Despite numerous attacks from her competitors, Rüegg secured third place in the 105.9-kilometer stage, won by American Chloé Dygert of Canyon Sram. This performance ensured Rüegg's overall victory, finishing 13 seconds ahead of Dutch rider Silke Smulders and 37 seconds ahead of Norway's Mie Bjørndal Ottestad. Expressing her delight, Rüegg credited her team's support and highlighted the significance of winning the first World Tour race of the year.
The Santos Tour Down Under women’s race began in 2016 and maintained its initial UCI 2.2 status until 2018, when it became the first cycling event in the world to offer women the same prize money as men with its upgraded UCI 2.1 status. In 2023, the women's race was elevated to UCI WorldTour status.

The event is inclusive, welcoming trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary individuals who identify significantly as women. While only women may race, everyone is welcome to spectate and volunteer, fostering a strong sense of community and support for women in the sport.
