I’ve been wanting to buy these for a while but no store near me has them in a my size for me to try. I have very small and wide feet- typically a size 6 in women’s which makes it challenging to find unisex shoes that fit. I was hesitant to buy a pair of these shoes without trying them on because I didn’t think the lowest size they had would fit me. 

BUT a couple of weeks ago, Crankbrothers came out with these shoes from sizes 3-and up, and I WAS EXCITED!! I thought, “now I can truly feel comfortable buying a smaller seize MTB shoe!” Luckily, I was able to try on a pair at the Sedona MTB Festival last week, and to my surprise, I found that my wide, small feet fit their size 6! So I bought them immediately (They gave me a pair of colour laces of my choice).

I also tried on the BOA size 5.5 to see if that would fit me differently, and I felt that the 5.5 shoe, while it also fit, it was a tad tight. I’ve been told by my podiatrist that I should always get a shoe for MTB that’s a tad bigger, and I’m stoked these fit perfectly. 

I wore that shoe for 6 days straight in Sedona-while riding, walking, and hike-a-biking. And let me tell you; they are comfortable! They are grippy! They are cushy! 

One of my favourite parts of this shoe, is the back where it has a lot of cushy ankle/heel support. I have yet to ride in a mountain biking shoe that has such support. For someone like me, who has a lot of ankle issues, this was such an amazing touch to the shoe, that it makes me comfortable wearing it all day. 

Now, out of all the shoes they have, only the Stamp Flat Black/Gum come in sizes 3-14. All other shoes in their line start from sizes 5-14. 

While Crankbrothers market the shoe from “Grom to Grown-up” I think women should not shy away from that wording. The fact is, that these shoes fit people of all shoe/feet sizes! And we’re pretty stoked about that!
