Final practice + seeding day at the Hard MTB League and the women absolutely showed up 🔥
Big lines, fast laps, and so much progression out here today. The ladies crushed it and tomorrow’s qualifier is going to be wild. 👏

Mountain bikers are way too good at convincing ourselves pain is normal.

Numb hands?
Low back pain?
Tight hips?
Knee pain?
Saddle discomfort?

Most riders just keep pedaling and hope it magically disappears.

On this new episode of the Women’s MTB Network Podcast, we sat down with Dr. Jessie Duppler to talk about bike fit, strength training, mobility, injury prevention, and what our bodies are actually trying to tell us when something feels off on the bike.

There’s a difference between being challenged by the sport… and ignoring pain because we think suffering is just part of mountain biking culture.

Honestly, one of the most insightful conversations we’ve had on the pod lately 👏

International Women’s MTB Day is about more than just riding bikes. It’s about showing up for each other, cheering louder, sharing what we know, and making sure the next generation of girls feels like they belong here too.

There is room for all of us in this sport.

Let’s keep choosing community over comparison, encouragement over gatekeeping, and support over ego.

Because when one woman progresses, we all move forward.

Happy International Women’s MTB Day 💛

Tag us and share the stoke!

🚴‍♀️ Let’s talk about community impact!

Tag someone who needs to hear this!

In my chat with Jill Nazeer from Salsa Cycles, we dive deep into the often unseen side of the bike world. It’s not just about selling bikes; it’s about empowering communities, supporting grassroots initiatives, and making biking accessible for everyone.

Jill shares her journey from art to outdoor marketing, highlighting the importance of collaboration with nonprofits and the real work happening behind the scenes.

As mountain bikers, we know trail builders are the unsung heroes. But what about the brands? Some are stepping up, investing in community efforts, and prioritizing advocacy over just profits.

Curious about how you can get involved too? Let’s change the narrative together.

Full episode on YT, Spotify, Apple and wherever you get your podcasts!

Today is International Women’s Day, a global reminder of how far women have come and how much progress continues to be made, and is needed to be made around the world.

In mountain biking, that progress is visible every day. Today is a reminder of how far women’s riding has come, and how it continues to grow in such powerful ways.

Every time a woman shows up at the trailhead, lines up at a race, picks up a camera, starts a brand, coaches a clinic, or simply decides she belongs on a bike, the sport grows.

Mountain biking is stronger when women are visible, supported, and given space to ride in their own way.

At the Women’s MTB Network, that’s what we’re here for: to tell the stories, build the community, provide resources, and make sure more women see themselves in this sport.

To every woman out riding today, from your very first ride to your thousandth, we see you.

And we’re just getting started.

Tag a woman who inspires you.👇👇🥳🥳

Olympian. 8-time world champion. And someone who has spent more than a decade figuring out how to stay in the sport when the spotlight shifts.

On this episode of the Women’s MTB Network Podcast, Mia sat down with Caroline Buchanan to talk about the full arc of a career: the early years, the pressure that comes with success, learning how to manage expectations, and how your relationship with sport changes over time — especially after a traumatic car accident left Caroline recovering from life-threatening injuries.

We also talk about what this next chapter looks like as she prepares to become a mum, and how she’s thinking about the future of the sport and the next generation of riders.

@cbuchanan68 also shares advice for young riders coming up in the sport — about patience, mindset, and learning how to build something that lasts.

This conversation is about longevity, perspective, and what it takes to build a life around something you love.
