Apparel Turning Heads
Peppermint Cycling Women’s MTB Collection 2025
Peppermint Cycling dropped a fresh collection at Sea Otter, featuring MTB overalls, lightweight jerseys, and trail-ready layers that hit that sweet spot between performance and style. This marks a big move into the U.S. market—and based on what I saw, they’re more than ready. They provide clothing for all cycling disciplines and it’s exciting to see them coming into the MTB space!
What’s even more exciting? Their clothing actually fits a curvier woman like me, and I can’t tell you how refreshing that is.
I’ll be testing their new line this weekend and releasing a full review article soon—stay tuned!
Shredly x Marley Blonsky Collaboration Back for Round 2
Shredly has long been a leader in inclusive women’s MTB apparel—and their second-year collaboration with Marley Blonsky is proof that they’re not just making a statement, they’re building momentum.
This line is bold, size-inclusive, and unapologetically fun. From updated fit features to prints that reflect Marley’s personality and mission, the pieces feel intentionally designed—not just extended sizing slapped on after the fact.
It’s gear that shows up for riders of all body types, and continues to challenge the old norms of what cycling apparel “should” look like. This collab isn’t just clothing, it’s advocacy you can wear. And honestly, we’re already excited to see what they do next.

Curious Creatures MTB Clothing Line
Curious Creatures continues to do things their own way—and we’re here for it. Their latest drop blends art, attitude, and technical performance into small-batch pieces that stand out for all the right reasons.
From breathable layers to functional trail pants, everything feels rider-driven and detail-focused. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out our article by Katie Sox reviewing their pants—she breaks down the fit, feel, and why they’ve become a go-to for everyday riding.
Also… I basically lived in their hat all weekend. It’s officially my favorite.
Curious Creatures proves you don’t have to be a big brand to make a big impact—you just have to get it right.
Wild Rye x Smith Optics Collaboration
Wild Rye showed up at Sea Otter Classic 2025 with a refreshed line that proves they’re not slowing down anytime soon. New colorways, updated fits, and subtle but smart tweaks to trail favorites like their pants and summer-weight jerseys had their booth buzzing.
What really stood out was their collab with Smith Optics—a limited-edition capsule that blends Wild Rye’s signature prints with Smith’s high-performance helmets and accessories. It’s playful and polished, and honestly, it just makes sense for the kind of rider who wants their gear to perform and feel like them.
They’re not just designing for women—they’re riding alongside them, listening, and evolving with every season.
Our review of their new helmet collab with Smith is out next week, so stay tuned!
Shoes That Stood Out at Sea Otter Classic 2025
First Degree MTB Shoes
Footwear has always felt like the missing piece in women’s MTB gear—but First Degree just made a strong case for changing that. Their new line of MTB shoes isn’t just a rebranded men’s option—they’re built with women’s-specific fit, comfort, and support from the ground up.
The grip looks solid, the construction feels quality, and the fit? Finally—not too narrow, not too bulky. These shoes are designed for real trail use, with a low-profile look and a feel that doesn’t fight your foot.
I had a chance to check them out up close and was genuinely impressed. I’ll be riding in a pair soon and sharing a full review!
Crankbrothers New MTB Shoe Release – April 2025
Crankbrothers released a new line of MTB shoes today, that we were able to check out at SOC last weekend. Designed for trail and downhill riders. The shoes feature enhanced pedal feel, aggressive tread for hike-a-bike sections, and a sleek fit to match their popular clipless and flat pedal systems. With a clean look and premium construction, they’re a strong new option for riders looking to upgrade.
Final Thoughts
These new releases signal major progress in women’s MTB apparel—combining technical innovation with inclusive design. Stay tuned for hands-on reviews and deeper testing from the trail. For a recap on all things tech, check out this latest article.
