Final Day of Women’s Practice at Red Bull Rampage 2024

Our crew was up and ready to capture the final practice session of the women at Red Bull Rampage 2024. The concentration and excitement were palpable as these fearless athletes fine-tuned their lines ahead of tomorrow’s historic final event. This year marks the first time women are competing at Rampage, and the energy on the course is nothing short of groundbreaking.

Focused on Perfection
Today’s practice runs were all about dialing in precision. From massive drops to jaw-dropping tricks, each rider pushed themselves, calculating every move before the big day.

Vero shared “This morning I ticked off all the features on my line and I’m so stoked! Next is linking all the runs”

Casey also shared with us that she’s preparing herself mentally by “simplifying the ride, not overthinking, and trying to focus of what my task is and ride the bike down the mountain like I’ve done before”

Overcoming Challenges
Today, the women showed grit and determination as they pushed through, perfecting their lines under the hot Utah sun. Reflecting on the practice session: “It’s so steep up there that the breaking points are going to be key.”- Georgia

For many, today was about finding that perfect balance between speed and control. As both Vaea and Georgia noted, “I’m going to have to remind myself to break, go slow, deep breaths and chill.”

A Day of Unity and Support
One of the standout aspects of today’s practice wasn’t just the fierce competition—it was the camaraderie among the riders. Between runs, athletes could be seen cheering each other on, giving tips, and celebrating successful drops and tricks.

As practice wrapped up, the anticipation for tomorrow’s final event is sky-high. These women are poised to make history, and if today’s practice is any indication, tomorrow’s runs will be nothing short of spectacular.
